A routine Sunday morning turned into something truly special for the Mowden Park U11s, as training came with a twist that none of the boys saw coming. With the squad’s eagerly anticipated tour to Cork just two weeks away, today’s session was designed to spark excitement, pride, and a sense of what’s to come.

The boys arrived expecting a standard training session, boots in hand and ready to work. Instead, they were met with a moment that will stay with them for years. Hidden away in the 1st XV changing room was a full tour presentation — a proper big‑club experience for a group of young players who live and breathe the game.

The tour kit made possible thanks to the generous support of Barratt Homes and Punk Security was unveiled in style. Their backing ensures the boys head to Ireland looking every bit the part, and the club is hugely grateful for their continued support of youth rugby.

With Cork Constitution waiting across the water, today’s surprise was more than just a treat, it was part of the build‑up to a tour that promises memories, friendships, and rugby moments that will last a lifetime. The countdown is officially on.
