DMP’s U11s continued their impressive season with a superb set of performances at home against a strong Northern RFC squad. Despite the quality of the opposition and the intensity of every contest, the young Mowden side rose to the challenge in style, securing four wins from four in a brilliant morning of rugby.

Each game was tightly contested, with both clubs showing excellent skills, determination, and sportsmanship throughout. Northern pushed hard in every fixture, but Mowden’s organisation, teamwork, and relentless work rate proved decisive. From sharp attacking play to committed defence, the U11s demonstrated just how far they’ve come this season.

What made the day even more encouraging was the consistency across all four matches. Different combinations stepped up, players supported each other superbly, and the squad’s depth was clear to see. It was the kind of all‑round performance that reflects the group’s growing confidence and maturity.

With their summer tour to Cork edging closer, this was exactly the type of preparation the coaches were hoping for — competitive fixtures, strong opposition, and a squad showing they’re ready to take their rugby on the road.
