BANG!

This week 8 of our squad joined U7 at Brunton Park for 15 games. Joshua, Jonny, James, Grace, Harry, William, Aodan and Oliver played in a rotation system of that coaches remain tight lipped about. It seemed to bring the best out of them with all games being closely contested, sometimes too keenly. James had one yellow card for a rugby tackle (not til next year please James). Opponents included Gateshead,Kendal, Kirby Stephen and Northern.

There was an excellent premiership match afterwards. Falcons 38 Harlequins 32! Half way through the first half coach Iain Taylor returned with the belts and first aid kit left by coach Furness in the West Stand. He confirmed security had been through it.

Next week is the Christmas party on Saturday. "It won't be as much of an anti-climax as this story," said your reporter.
