Mowden Mini’s play Sunderland U7’s

1st Game saw the Mowden Mini’s play the Sunderland U7’s side in a flowing performance by the visitors leading to a 9 tries to 8 victory.

Tries scored by Alex and David, with Will starting the days scoring with 7 try’s under his belt!

2nd Game saw the visitors face a fresh Sunderland U8’s in a tougher match than the last, with Sunderland ’s runners evading Mowdens attempts to tag them in the first half. Come the second half Mowden saw a return to form, pulling the scoring back, but ran out of time, losing by two points, final score 8 tries to 6 to Sunderland. Jack and David contributing to the score, with an impressive 4 try’s from Will.

3rd Game saw Mowden fully warmed up and in full flow displaying the best rugby of the day. A consummate team performance saw effective tagging, good support play and plenty of passing. Final score was 7 tries to 6 to Mowden. Scoring by Alex and Edward and the remaining by Will.

Well done to the Mowden Mini’s who played 3 games, almost back to back, and with no sub’s and came away with 2 wins and 1 defeat.
