Mowden win at Hartlepool

This was our best team effort of the season.

Hartlepool were short of players and a big thanks to Jack Williams who volunteered to play for them. On the down side he turned out to be one of their best players scoring two trys against us!

The rest of our lads played very well. The first half was closely contested with the score 4-3 to us at the half. Jack Ryan scored twice with Lyle Godfrey and his brother Regan both adding 1 try. We dominated the second half 5 -1. Two trys were added by Will Hickerson and one each from Matthew Auger, Regan Godfrey and Lyle Godfrey. Lyles try was superbly set up with the quick passing of Brook Hall-Beasley and Jack Ryan.

The team defence was outstanding in the second half after a slow start in the first half. Everyone got stuck in and tackled well.

I am very proud of all the boys for this performance were every player contributed to an overwhelming victory. Keep up the great team work and we will continue to score trys and win matches.
