A fine win for the squad of 26 keen lads that turned out at Barney School for only our second game of 2014.
Wheezing Rory Anderson opened the scoring after dashing the full length of the pitch in the opening minutes.
Ben Cooper and Liam Slater both went very close to debut tries after barnstorming runs.
Max Pepper finished off a fine break from Japser Metcalfe up the left wing.
Adam Brown scored 2 tries with his strong running, with the second being a fine back row effort with all three of the lads showing fine handling to keep the ball alive to the try line. Sam Graham also crossed the line.
Tomas Nicholson literally burrowed over the line with his ear filled with mud and Will Robinson added the conversion.
The match was refereed by Ronan Willans, it was a fine display from him and we were pleased to see that he has finally conquered Anorexia.
Thanks to all at Barney for kindly allowing us to use their facilities.
