County Cup Round 1 - Away win

Mowden line up for the first round of the County Cup looking magnificent in their new strips - Thank you very much to the shirt sponsor Steve Graham (Heating and Plumbing).
In the opening minutes of the game Jasper Metcalfe took the ball from the back of a ruck and sprinted up the left-hand touch line to continue his scroring run. Later in the half he crossed the line but failed to ground the ball fully, the try was not awarded. Rory Anderson playing at outside centre was running hard and straight and he too scored before half time.
In a tough, physical encounter the Mowden boys did well to retain their composure - but this paid dividends as they cut loose in the second half scoring several tries after multiple phases of play. Todays scorers were;
