Garry Law's side had led 7-21 after a rapid start, but the home side scored 24 unanswered points to take a bonus point win in the capital.
Mowden made the ideal start after 5 minutes, when winger Henry Hadfield sprinted away to score under the posts after an excellent break from Callum Pascoe from a midfield scrum. The hosts hit back soon after, with hooker Jared Saunders profiting from a driving maul in the corner. A lively start then saw a beautifully worked try for Yaree Fantini who latched onto a well judged chip from Pascoe. Things got better for DMP minutes later as Joe Craggs dotted down after a big overlap on the right hand side, with Matt Minogue converting all three tries. Mowden came close to their fourth try of the afternoon when Ollie Walker broke clear, only for the attack to be stopped illegally by Rosslyn. Former DMP fullback Henry Robinson was shown yellow in the process, but Mowden were unable to capitalise on the extra man as a Benji Marfo try narrowed the gap to 7 points at the break.
A cagey start to the second half saw errors from both sides, before the gap was narrowed to 2 points after another close range try by Saunders. Sam Kyle-Clay was shown yellow in the process for side entry , but Mowden held firm for the sin-bin period to set up a tense final quarter. Both sides missed long-range penalty efforts, but a late brace of tries for Joe Luca Smith saw the hosts come out on top in Round 18.
Scrum half Callum Pascoe was DMP's standout player after a brilliant 80 minute performance.
