It was the home side who struck first, at 7 minutes in, when Carys Cox gathered a smart kick from Vicky Foxwell to dot down. The Warriors extended their advantage minutes later when Lydia Thompson raced clear, and a third followed when Cox crossed for her second on the 15 minute mark. The bonus point try came via Carys Phillips, with a further score from Amelia Bucklnad-Hurry taking the score to 29-0 at the break.

Further second half tries from Thompson, Varley and Mattinson took the result beyond any doubt, but the Sharks stuck to the task well and had a try of their own late on when Trudy Cowan dived over following a charge down. Tess Feury converted to make the final score 48-7 to the Warriors.
