DMP Sharks have added further international quality to their squad with the signing of USA's Kathryn Treder. The Eagles hooker joins a growing American contingent at the club heading into Saturday's Round 7 clash with Worcester. Speaking following her move to the UK, the 26 year-old commented: "I am delighted to be joining the DMP Sharks for the remainder of the 2022-2023 season. It’s been a dream to play in the Allianz Premier 15s. I am looking forward to learning, growing, and building relationships across the pond."

Treder joins the Sharks having won 9 caps for the USA, including 2 at the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Asked about the latest addition to his squad, Performance Manager Mark Luffman added: "We're delighted to welcome Kathryn to the Sharks. Her arrival has really created some healthy competition for the number 2 shirt and we're excited to see her have an impact on the field."
