Mowden Park are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Thiart ahead of the upcoming National One season. The Namibian-born prop joins from National Two North side Otley, and becomes DMP's 7th new signing of the summer. Asked about making the move to the Arena, Ethan said: "Looking forward to getting stuck in with a great bunch of lads. I'm excited for a new chapter with DMP."

22 year-old Thiart will be familiar with National One after spells with Chinnor and Leeds Tykes, and brings international age grade experience from his time with Namibia. At 6'3" and 138kg, Thiart will add further strength to the DMP pack this season.

Speaking about the latest addition to the DMP pack, Forwards Coach Joe Cain added: "Ethan is a big physical player and showed this after a successful season with Otley. I’m hoping he can impose himself on Nat 1 this year and bring some real physicality to our front row."
