The former University of Cape Town player joined Mowden Park in November 2015 and went onto make 20 appearances scoring over 100 points as the club went onto to finish sixth in National One.

Director of Rugby Danny Brown said: “We are delighted to welcome back Warren, who had a huge impact on the club when he arrived last year.

“We are grateful to Yorkshire Carneige for their continued support as Warren will join Sam Allan, Brandon Staples and Charlie Capps in the squad."

Meanwhile the club can confirm that fly-half Caolan Ryan has joined Rotherham Titans.

Ryan who has been an ever-present for the club this season and has amassed 86 points for Mowden Park.

Director of Rugby Danny Brown added: “On one hand we are disappointed to lose Caolan as he has been a great addition for the club both on and off the pitch and has been a credit to himself.

“However we share Caolans thoughts in that this is a great opportunity for him and we do not want to stand in a players way as he develops as a rugby player we wish Caolan all the best for his future and look forward to seeing him feature for Rotherham and to watch his progress.”
