Saracens Women ran in 12 tries to take maximum points from Saturday's game at Allianz Park. An improved Sharks performance saw them restrict the champions for large periods of the first half, before Sarries broke free in the second period.
Tamara Taylor opened the scoring with a brace of tries against her former side inside the opening 20 minutes. DMP defended well for large periods to frustrate the hosts, before Marlie Packer crossed for her second of the season. Packer then turned creator as she put Poppy Cleall over for her side's bonus point try. The Sharks then looked to grow into the game somewhat with some impressive line breaks from Amy Orrow, but the score remained 22-0 at the break.
Sharks started the second half brightly but it was the hosts who scored next to extend her lead as May Campbell crossed from a driving maul on 42 minutes. Deborah Fleming then crossed for her first Saracen's try since her return from England 7s, before Rocky Clark crossed minutes later. The hosts then opened up with further tries from Hannah Casey and Emma Uren, as well as second tries for Clark and Fleming respectively making the final score 72-0.
The Sharks now have a weekend off before travelling to Wasps FC on Saturday 7th November.
