Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the signing of Chris Dobson ahead of the upcoming National One season. The scrum half joins from Billingham and has already linked up with the DMP squad as they continue their preparations for the 2021/22 league campaign. Asked about his switch to the Arena, Dobson said: "I’m looking forward to getting started next season with Mowden and testing myself in National 1"

DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "Another challenger for the 9 shirt this coming season. He is stepping up from the lower leagues with an aim to really pushing himself. He has a real bite about him and is hungry to compete."

"With the number of games we have to play in Nat 1 I am very pleased with the group of scrum halves we have at our disposal. The in house competition for the shirt will only be a positive and help push standards."
