Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the signing of Dan Preston-Routledge from Yorkshire Carnegie. The second row becomes the latest acquisition to Danny Brown’s squad ahead of next season and player-coach Garry Law was pleased with the signing: “I’m glad we will have DPR’s services with us next season. He came to us post his university duties last season and was always on catch up picking up plays. I’m sure with a full pre-season with the squad under his belt we will see the best of Dan’s play. He brings real size and power to our squad for next season.”

The young lock, pictured here on England Students duty, was glad to be joining the Mowden Family: “I am really looking forward to being part of Mowden. I know that DMP have loyal and dedicated fans which support the team away and at home, and I am really looking forward to playing for them.” When asked about his time with the club so far, Preston-Routledge said: “I also know that Mowden has a huge amount of potential and opportunity to push forward. The coaching and staff are really welcoming and the players are a great set of lads which I'm looking forward to being part of.”
