Darlington Mowden Park have announced their coaching staff for the upcoming National One season. Garry Law will continue his role of Director of Rugby, supported by Forwards Coach Joe Cain and Rowan Willans who joins the team as Assistant Coach for 2022/23. Gus Miller and John Ritchie will continue as Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager respectively, while Amy Coleman continues as the team’s Head Physiotherapist.
Asked about the coaching team for the upcoming campaign, Garry Law said: “A small on field coaching team but it has been good to have Joe involved all of pre-season with the team to put more of his stamp on things. Rowan has come on board in an assistant role and has been a great help with organising and getting things in place both on and off the pitch, another set of eyes will prove very beneficial going forward.”
“Off the field we are blessed to have the likes of Gus and John who have worked tirelessly together in sourcing accommodation, travel etc. It’s a great help when 99% of the off field stuff is taken care of by these guys.”
"Amy will be heading up the medical side of things again this season. Last season saw the usual stream of injuries within the squad as games started to come thick and fast, Amy did a great job in getting these players back on the pitch ahead of schedule."
