As preparations continue for the upcoming National One season, we're delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Gibson. The 20 year-old becomes the latest addition to the DMP squad, and was pleased to be joining the club: "I am grateful for this opportunity and really excited for this season ahead. I look forward to getting to know the lads and getting stuck in."

The second row will combine his rugby with studies at Northumbria University, having represented the Uni 1st XV last season. Gibson brings further depth to the DMP pack, after earning representative honours with North of England U20s.

Asked about the latest addition to the squad, Forwards Coach Joe Cain added: "Ryan comes to us with a lot of university rugby experience. At 6 foot 8 he will add plenty to our lineout and he carries the ball well. It’s a great chance for Gibbo to make the step up to the National Leagues and we’re looking forward to supporting him through it."
