This Saturday we welcome table toppers Coventry to the Arena. So far, Coventry have won 21 out of 22 games this season. Their only loss came a few weeks ago away to Blackheath 61-29. Mowden are yet to be beaten at the Arena and recently beat Blackheath at the 33-19 on home soil.
Last weekend, Coventry beat Cambridge quite convincingly 40-10 at home, running in 6 tries and picking up maximum points. Mowden suffered a tough defeat away to Plymouth 34-19, returning to the North-East empty handed. However, this weekend Mowden will be looking to maintain their 100% home record and keep pressure on the league leaders in the process.
Coventry’s top point’s scorer this season is Fly Half, Will Maisey with 178 points. Their top try scorer is Winger/ Full Back James Stokes with 16 tries, leaving him the leagues joint top try scorer.
