Darlington Mowden Park are pleased to announce that Tristan Grant has re-signed with the club ahead of the upcoming National One season. The DMP prop goes into his third season at the Darlington Arena, having signed from Tynedale in 2018. Asked about extending his stay at the club, he said: “I’m glad to continue being involved with the club. Looking forward to the season with great teammates and coaches.”

The former Newcastle Falcons academy front rower missed the first half of last season through injury, before being involved regularly throughout February including in the wins over Blackheath and Chinnor at the Arena.

DMP Forwards Coach Joe Cain added: “Tristan has worked really hard over the past few seasons to get back for from a few niggles and injuries, and when he’s been fit he’s played really well for DMP. In big games last year such as Blackheath at home he really stepped up to the plate. He’s been a great squad member and looking forward to see him progress through this season.”
