Australian sister band Germein confirmed as special guests for the Jess Glynne concert at Darlington Arena on Friday 2 August.

Australian sister band Germein have been turning heads across the globe with their unique brand of indie pop rock songs and signature harmonies. Having wrapped up a 15-date UK stadium tour with Little Mix, siblings Georgia (guitar), Ella (bass, electric cello) and Clara Germein (drums) have just kicked off their 2019 Headline UK Tour following the release of their latest single Little Part of Me. Germein’s popular hits including Talking and Knocking at My Door are the taste of a new Germein created, recorded and produced at home by Georgia Germein. “The energy put into this song has paid off – with style, plenty of sass, edgy guitars and a soaring chorus shows off a range of influences. Their tight harmonies show off how perfectly their voices work together and they that they have musical finesse to be reckoned with” Line of Best Fit (UK). The trio are very excited to be opening for Jess Glynne on her 2019 summer tour.

Nina Nesbitt is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer who knows exactly what she wants. Having just released her second UK album The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change, Nina is now headlining tours in the UK, USA and Australia before supporting Jess Glynne on her summer tour. With billboards in New York's Times Square, LA and London in support of her singles, and over 100 million streams on the album to date, Nina will be playing her hits The Best You Had, Somebody Special, Colder and Loyal To Me amongst others on this tour.

Jessica Hannah Glynne first rose to prominence in 2014 as the featured artist on singles Rather Be by Clean Bandit and My Love by Route 94, both of which reached Number One in the UK. Her incredible vocals and fearless delivery soon had the music industry listening. Fans were quick to follow as the girl from North London has since carved out a unique slot of her own with what has become now her instantly familiar, rousing vocal styling and stamp on pop, soul, R&B and house. Jess’ debut album I Cry When I Laugh debuted at Number One in the UK Albums Chart in 2015, bringing with it the hit singles Hold My Hand and Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself, both garnering her huge international acclaim. The much awaited second album Always In Between released in 2018 unsurprisingly took the UK by storm, catapulting straight to Number One, including the anthems I’ll Be There and All I Am, the former positioning Jess as the only female solo artist to have seven Number One hits in the UK Singles Chart.

Jess Glynne will be performing at the Darlington Arena on Friday 2 August 2019, bringing her instantly recognisable stardust and powerhouse vocals for what promises to be THE concert of the summer, and joined by special guests Nina Nesbitt and Germein.
Jess Glynne said, “See you soon Darlington! Get your tickets now. Big love! Can’t wait xx”
Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of LHG Live, promoters of the concert said “Jess is such an incredibly vibrant and mesmerising artist, arguably the most successful female artist of the moment whose hits have dominated the charts so we are looking forward to a fantastic concert in Darlington, and we are thrilled to now announce Nina Nesbitt and Germein as her special guests. What a night we have in store for fans! We have no doubt tickets will fly!”
