Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Drew Davison, who joins the club for the remainder of the season from Championship outfit Caldy.
Drew is no stranger to the Arena, having represented Mowden throughout the 2023–24 campaign before linking up with the Army for the 2024–25 season. His performances earned him a full‑time move to Caldy this year, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back into the blue and white.
A dynamic and physical back‑rower, Drew brings real punch in both attack and defence, alongside the kind of work‑rate and toughness that will complement and strengthen an already improving Mowden pack.
“We have been tracking Drew for some time but the stars have never aligned until now. We are super excited to have him onboard and to see what he can bring to a pack that in recent weeks has shown huge improvements across all aspects of the game,” said Neil Young, Forwards Coach.
Speaking about his return, Drew added:
“Buzzing to be back at a club I really enjoyed my last playing opportunity at and can’t wait to get stuck in for the remainder of the season.”
Drew is available for selection immediately as Mowden continue their push through the National 2 North campaign.
