Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the arrival of Josh Ree for the upcoming National One season. The fly half signs from Leeds Tykes and will link up with the squad's pre-season preparations shortly. Asked about making the move to DMP, Ree said: "I’m stoked to be joining DMP for this upcoming season. I’m excited to get stuck in and enjoy the season ahead."

The 22 year-old stand off is familiar with National One from his time at Leeds Tykes last season, having previously played for Kirkby Lonsdale after his return to the UK. Born in Cumbria, Josh moved to New Zealand at a young age, representing Christchurch and Crusaders at age group level. Ree becomes the third new arrival of the summer, following Callum Davidson and Eoin Harrison who both join the club from Southern Knights.

Speaking about the latest addition to the DMP squad, Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "Josh can easily cover 10 and 15 which will serve us well throughout the season. We're looking forward to seeing Josh get going with the squad and putting his stamp on how we are going to attack this new season."
