Ahead of the 2023/24 National One season we're thrilled to announce the arrival of Callum Davidson from Southern Knights. The scrum half has already linked up with his new teammates as they begin preparations for the National One campaign. Speaking ahead of his first season at the Arena, Callum said: "I’m excited to get started with an impressive side that shows a lot of quality. Looking forward to improving my skills and seeing where the season takes us."

The 21 year-old scrum half joins fellow Northumbria graduate Eoin Harrison as the club's second new signing of the summer. Davidson is familiar with the North East from his time at Northumbria as well as a spell at Leeds Tykes, after earning representative honours in the Ulster age groups over in Ireland.

Asked about the latest addition to his squad, DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "We're looking forward to having Callum on board this season. He has been a stand out performer for Southern Knights in the Scottish Super 6 competition. It will be a great battle between the 2 Callum's for the starting 9 shirt this coming season, something that can only make each player be at their best."
