Darlington Mowden Park are thrilled to announce the signing of Josh Crickmay ahead of the 2021/22 National One season. The former Huddersfield prop becomes Mowden's 5th new signing of the summer, and the 28 year-old was excited to get going: "Very excited to be joining DMP and really looking forward to the challenges that Nat 1 brings to the table. There's a great bunch of lads up at DMP and I want to see how far I could push myself."

The tighthead prop brings a wealth of experience with him to the Arena, having previously represented Huddersfield, Old Rishworthians, Tunbridge Wells and Old Brodlians. Commenting on the latest addition to his squad, DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "Josh is a big unit but don't let that fool you, he has a great skill set which will suit the way we like to play down to the ground. We are going to be working with Josh really hard on his technical scrummaging game as this combined with his natural size could be his strongest weapon."
