DMP Sharks are delighted to announce the signing of Meya Bizer for the remainder of the 2022/23 Allianz Premier 15s season. The 29 year-old becomes the fourth new arrival of the year, joining fellow USA Eagles Olivia Ortiz and Tess Feury. Asked about making the switch to her new club, Bizer said: “I’m thrilled to be joining DMP and to be competing in the Prem. I think we’ve brought a good group to the team and I can’t wait to see how we mesh!"

Bizer brings a wealth of international experience to the Sharks, with 26 caps for the USA to her name including in the recent World Cup in New Zealand. Since her debut against France in 2012, she has established herself as a regular in the Eagles backline at both centre and fullback. Performance Manager Mark Luffman added: “Meya is another brilliant addition to our squad. She's another player with a really versatile skill set and she is able to slot into a number of positions across the back line."
