Training paying dividends!!

Great day of minis rugby, hosted by Mowden RUFC at Carmel school this Sunday.

The u11s were in fine form and the coaches had the following to say:

Congratulations and thanks to all the boys for efforts today during the hard fought games with both Yarm and Guisborough today. Both Yarm and Guisborough were hard opponents and their rucking tested both of our teams abilities, however, we gave as good as we got and they all should be really proud of their efforts. It was pretty physical, they worked really hard, showed great commitment and were focused throughout which is important when only having a short time to play and also considering that the weather was biting a bit. It is great to see since the start of the season how their confidence and their ability has grown and as teams how they are gelling together.

To the ones that scored the try's today, congratulations and to all those that made the try’s possible, without your dedication and commitment in the tackles, the rucks, ripping of the ball and the passing, no try is possible, so thank you to you too.

I would also like to say thank you to all the parents who turned out today and every week, whether the games are at home or away to show their support to the teams and finally, I would also like to extend a further thank you to all the other coaches who have made the U11’s teams as strong as they are today, hopefully your efforts haven’t gone un-noticed by Santa who may leave a special bottle under the tree.

Regards

Mark

All,
Just to say what an excellent display of rugby from the boys on Sunday - please feel free to award them a small treat, if not already done so!!

By beating both Yarm and Guisborough in all four games, it is now becoming apparent that all our hard training is paying dividends.

Let's all keep up the good work.

Ian/Coaches.

I would like to add my agreement to all that has been said – even with the varying employment of rules (continuum/shaping the game etc) they seem to putting in to practice a lot of the training.

David.

Well done lads, keep up the hard work and enjoy your rugby.
