Durham City RFC vs DMP RFC

We managed a superb turnout of around twenty players that allowed us to field two teams drawn at random. Durham matched us by also producing two teams and each team played two games.

Following the Shaping the Game rules, the games proved to be flowing, fast moving and the crowd were treated to watching great phases of play and many tries.

Match 1:

DMPRFC - 5 DRFC - 7

This was a close game and the scores were evenly matched right up the the last few minutes, try scorers included - Adam, Paul, Matthew, Jack, and Ollie.

Match 2:

DMPRFC - 5 DRFC - 7
Again, another close game where the score just crept away from us towards the end of the second half, try scorers - Freddie (3),
William, Jamie.

Match 3:

DMPRFC -9 DRFC - 4
We were on fire this game! try scorers - Matthew -3, Jack -3,
Jaydon - 2, Josh

Match 4:

DMPRFC - 2 DRFC - 7
Durham came out fighting scoring early to put them ahead, unfortunately we didnt have enough in the tank to catch them up. Our try scorers - Archie, William.

All the players put on a fantastic display of free running, passing and committed tackling! The coaches would like to thank them all for their endless energy and determination on the pitch. Thanks to the parents, family and friends who attended,helped out and supported. The team effort off the pitch is as important as on the pitch! It is very much appreciated!
