Another solid team performance with every player working in support of each other.

First half
First 5 minutes both sides warm into the game having never played each other and both having their fair share of possession. DMP begin to move the ball around with confidence running attacking channels looking for an opening. DMP have the put into a scrum at the Leeds 5m line and following it work hard to punch holes in the Leeds defence but unfortunately knocking on in the process allowing Leeds to clear their lines. Leeds press forward through an attack of their own but DMP defend well winning a turnover to secure possession. DMP turn up the tempo and seem to have the better ball handling between the two sides moving the ball with fluidity to Joe Berry for him to go over for the first try. Converted by Will Todd 7-0 DMP
The conditions under foot were not great making the game fairly loose with a high number of knock on’s and scrums and with both sides seeing plenty of the ball. DMP managing to hold on to possession and working through the phases successfully attacking the Leeds line with Charlie Feary finding a gap to score a good try converted by Sam Berry 14-0 DMP.
On the kick off and just before the half time whistle Leeds bounce back with a well worked try of their own. 14-5 DMP.

Second half

Much of the same for the first 10 minutes both teams having plenty of possession and both with strong attacking play. DMP's handling looking superior with Leeds struggling to build any pressure DMP break through Robert Carney to run in a good try converted by Will Todd 28-5 DMP.
DMP heads are up and are immediately on the hunt for another score, Stephen Henry and Matthew Auger Working hard at the breakdown Will Hickerson Knicks the ball and finds a great line to score
35-5 DMP
Leeds try their best but DMP prove to be too strong with another two tries being scored, the first coming from Joe Berry catching the ball from the kick off and sprinting almost the full length of the pitch and the second from Will Todd finishing the game off at 47-5 to DMP
Another solid team performance with every player working in support of each other.
