Great turnout once again by the players 28 altogether
Kick-off. First 5min looks like a excellent start .Good run from Kamal from a kicked ball. First scrum and Mowden wins a tight head .Back line making unnecessary mistakes and putting the forwards under pressure. Game been played mostly in half of field. Fast ball, handled by whole backline and gives Joshua a chance to score a good try. Conversion missed, 5 points up. Percy Park goes blind and James P makes a try saving tackle. Chris and Tom relieve pressure with some excellent kicks. Tom gets a 3 pointer. 8 points clear. Poor defending by players gives Percy Park a 7 pointer. Forwards beating PP but backline making too many mistakes. Another good backline movement give Joshua his second try. Half time Mowden leading 13 to 7. All the forwards have had a very good half, led by Tom. Mike makes changes and brings on fresh legs. Second half begins and 3 minutes later, poor defending gives PP the lead 14 to 13.Huge momentum shift with the forwards as PP starts getting much more ball. Spotted our weakness and using the bigger players to run at us.20 minutes later, we back in their half. Penalty and good Captaincy gives us the lead 16 to 14.Now its bum squeaky time. Games are won and lost on the commitment of players and this one we lost.6 minutes to go, PP scores again. We fought back the last few minutes and got so close. Well done to PP.
