U16's win at the Arena

This week saw Mowden take on Penrith in their first game of the season at the Arena. Previous games against the Cumbrian team have been hard fought and today proved no exception. In the first half the teams were fairly equally matched with Mowden gaining 3 points from a penalty kick. After half time however, Mowden proved the stronger team and a try was scored by Chris Greenwell followed quite quickly with a second by Kamal Ameen Ali. Penrith came back with a late try to make the final score 13 - 5 to Mowden. Well done to all the team. A very deserved win.
