DMPRFC comprehensively outgunned visitors Dudley Kingswinford RFC with a 14 try onslaught at the Northern Echo Arena.

A sizeable crowd on Sponsors Day were treated to a bumper score at the Northern Echo Arena, as DMPRFC scored 14 tries in an entertaining game for their supporters, overunning their first time visitors to Dudley Kingswinford RFC.

However, this was a desperate watch for connections of Dudley Kingswinford RFC, who cite a terrible run of injuries as one of the main reasons for their current demise, as well as an exodus of their best players from last season, who quite simply have not been replaced.

Tries were scored at regular intervals, with winger Tom KILL registering the first after only 6 minutes of play (5 - 0). Gavin PAINTER slotting the extras (7 - 0) on what was a mixed day for him with the boot, however he certainly made up for it in his ball play, as he orchestrated the home backs to perfection.

Tries for skipper Cameron MITCHELL (x2), scrum half Max CONNON, full back Henry ROBINSON, centre Chris PEACE, another for Tom KILL and a final try from Rory DUFF (48 - 0) before the break for oranges, together with a further three conversions from Gavin PAINTER, ensured the game and the points.

The visitors did manage to score a consolation try just prior to the break, which was well taken and converted by their stand off (48 - 7).

It was just a matter of whether the home team could stay focussed after the interval, as often games like these peter out after such a big score, however this was not the case for the unfortunate Dudley Kingswinford RFC.

Winger Tom KILL was replaced at half time for DMPRFC and Shaun McCARTNEY introduced to play.

DMPRFC took over from where they left off, with Gavin PAINTER opening the try scoring just after oranges, converting his own try (55 - 7).

The onslaught resumed after that, with tries from flanker Jack ALLCOCK, replacement Shaun McCARTNEY and a second for Henry ROBINSON, with Gavin PAINTER converting one of the tries. (72 - 7).

In the meantime, the bench was emptied by the home side, with Lewis JOHNSTON replacing Chris PEACE, Liam RILEY on for Jack ALLCOCK, Ben SIMPSON for Josh BAYFORD and former skipper Junior SULUGA FAGALILO replacing Pierce PHILLIPS.

The scoring continued until the end, with Cameron MITCHELL in for his hat-trick and versatile forward and man of the match Ross WHITE, who by this time had transfered from hooker to flanker, went over for a deserved try. Full back Henry ROBINSON converting the two tries (86 - 7).

A yellow card late on only added to Dudley Kingswird's woes.

Not a total whitewash, but the nearest thing to it, on a day at the Northern Echo to forget for the visitors, who did have a few further opportunities to add to their score, but when your luck is out ,as they say, it's out.

A further 5 points to the league total, which assists to stay in touch with the three teams so far unbeaten in the league, namely Stourbridge, Macclesfireld and Luctonians.
