The previous contest between the two sides at the Northern Echo Arena resulted in a 38-18 win for Mowden Park. Cambridge had taken an early lead through Ean Griffiths, before a brace of tries for Seals and Uzokwe secured a bonus point win for the hosts. DMP’s only trip to Cambridge ended in a 25-20 win in a tight contest at Volac Park last season. The visitors had trailed at the break that day but came back once again to clinch the 5 point win.
