Another vital result on the road, as after an even first half, DMPRFC add a further 25 unanswered points to take the 5 bonus points at the Woodland Memorial Ground against Fylde RFC.
With the reverse fixture a very tight affair (29 - 29) at the Northern Echo Arena, the first half of this game was equally as tight, with Fylde RFC edging out the visitors at oranges (10 - 8).
Fylde RFC struck first, when after just three minutes they were on the scoreboard with a try from their lively hooker (5 - 0).
DMPRFC levelled with the first of full back Henry ROBINSON's brace (5 - 5).
DMPRFC were a man lighter after hooker Charlie MADDISON was sin-binned for a minor altercation and this provided some impetus for the home side, as from a scrum, their second row powered over for their second try (10 - 5).
Visiting fly half Grant CONNON moved DMPRFC close to the Fylde total prior to the break, with awell taken penalty after Fylde were penalised (10 - 8).
A more determined DMPRFC emerged for the second half, with two initial penalties from Grant CONNON, taking the visitiors into the lead (10 - 14).
When the home full back was yellow carded, DMPRFC cranked up the pressure and powerful flanker Joe MAUD got on the end of a rolling maul from a catch and drive to touch down (10 - 19). Grant CONNON made no mistake with the afters (10 - 21).
At this stage it was all DMPRFC, as Fylde had no answer and appeared resigned to defeat.
Full back Henry ROBINSON got his second drive after a blistering turn of pace took him through a faltering defence for DMPRFC's third try (10 - 26), with again CONNON converting (10 - 28).
With the game won at this stage, the visitors mustered troops for a crack at the try bonus point and achieved this when Grant CONNON capped a fine performance with a try of his own (10 - 33).
All in all a good performance on the road, particularly in the second half, when there was only ever one team in the race for the win.
