Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce that ex-England Cricketer Ryan Sidebottom will be joining us on Monday 21st May as one of a number of sporting celebrities. The Yorkshireman will play host to one of a number of platinum tables on the night, a great chance to team up with Sidebottom against other local sporting stars.

Sidebottom remains the only player in the last 15 years to win a total 5 County Championships, with both Nottinghamshire and his native Yorkshire. The 40-year-old left-armer played 22 Tests for England, also winning the ICC World Twenty20 title with them in 2010.

In 2008 he became the 37th England player to take a test hat-trick, during a breakthrough series in New Zealand. He retired at the end of the 2017 season, after a career that included a remarkable 1,028 wickets in all competitions, starting and ending at his home county Yorkshire.

Looking ahead to May's event, Sidebottom commented: "I’m really looking forward to coming to Mowden Park for the Interactive Question of Sport Evening, I used to love watching Ian and Bill go head to head and would like to help Beefy win this one!!"
