This weekend sees the visit of Rosslyn Park RFC, who travel for the first time to the Northern Echo Arena, from their Priory Lane HQ, Roehampton

Rosslyn Park RFC are currently lying in 2nd place in the league, with 111 points, from 23 wins, only 3 losses, with 17 try bonus points and 2 losing bonus points in their total.

Their top points scorer is Scott Sneddon with 117 points (1 try, 32 conversions and 13 penalties) and their top try scorer with 19 tries is No.8 Hugo Ellis.

In the corresponding fixture in London in the last week of November 2014, despite tries from Jamie BARNARD and Adam NIXON, together with a penalty try and 2 conversions from Tom HODGSON, Rosslyn Park RFC won the day (29 – 19).

In their last outing before the recent break, Rosslyn Park RFC beat Hartpury College RFC (36 – 11) at Roehampton.

There is no doubt that Rosslyn Park RFC travel North confident in their track record to date and they will certainly provide quality opposition.

From a Darlington Mowden Park RFC perspective, although it was disappointing to return from London against Blackheath RFC without a victory in the 29 – 27 defeat, the 2 bonus points gained assured National League One status for the 2015/16 season, which is a remarkable achievement for the club in the first season at this level.

Tries from Henry ROBINSON, Tom HODGSON, Malakai WACOKECOKE and Ben RATH, together with 2 conversions and a penalty from Grant CONNON were not quite enough to overhaul Blackheath RFC on the day
