Help Us Make Christmas Day Different With TFM's Mission Christmas.

Every year Cash for Kids makes it their mission to help ensure that thousands of local children wake up to a present on Christmas morning who may otherwise be forgotten. Last year here in the North East, Cash for Kids secured gifts and funding to support over 52,000 children who normally receive nothing, we gave them the Christmas spirit and belief they have been longing for. The children that they help are often living in desperate conditions, suffering from dire poverty, living in care or refuges, suffering from neglect, recovering from abuse or ill-treatment or those with disabilities who require specialist toys to improve their well-being. These children are all highlighted to Cash for Kids by a member of the local authority and we work with social workers, teachers, police and doctors to ensure they are helping those who are in urgent need. Along with collecting gifts they also raise vital funds to help secure much needed specialist equipment, adapted sensory toys for children with disabilities and to secure any items for age groups we run short of.

That’s where we need your help, we cannot complete this on our own, we need you to join the mission.

Darlington Mowden Park is now a registered drop off point for Mission Christmas gifts. We are encouraging our members, supporters, players and staff to donate one gift which could help to make a child's Christmas this year.

Please donate just one gift if you can, which could make a big difference. All gifts should be new and unwrapped, and you can drop them off at Arena Main Reception at our Mission Christmas drop off point. For a list of gift ideas and suggestions, please click here.

You can also help by donating £5 by texting "MISSION" to 70905, which will help support local children living in poverty this Christmas.

Thank you for helping us to make a difference this Christmas.
