Lizzies Enjoy Gateshead Trip

The ladies had their first fixture of 2024 facing Gateshead in an away game in their touch league.

A hard fought game with great plays by all the team, which ended in a 4 - 4 draw.

Our player of the match was Morgan Johnson for her handling skills and agility on the pitch, with the oppositions player of the match going to Holly Hope who stopped the opposition in their tracks catching all their high balls when they attempted to chip the ball over the top to score. As well as a newbie to our touch team Holly will make a promising fullback in our developing contact team.

We go again next Friday away to Coastal Cyclones.
