Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the arrival of Curtis Langdon from London Irish ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

The hooker has penned a one-year deal at The Northern Echo Arena.

Langdon was drafted into the England u20 squad as an injury replacement during last year’s six nations and featured four times scoring one try.

The 19 year old, who came through the London Irish AASE scheme, has experience of National League One rugby having featured 19 times for Henley Hawks last season having been on a dual-registration contract.

Director of Rugby Danny Brown said of Langdon’s arrival: “Curtis is a young lad who has been in the professional environment with London Irish and gained more experience with England u20s.

“We see him having huge potential in the game and we are looking forward to watching the quality hookers we have battle it out for the starting shirt next season."

Langdon becomes Mowden Parks eighth summer arrival following Caolan Ryan, James Penman, Joel Gill, Matt Heaton. Myles Tucker, Danny Dixon and Josh Bragman.
