Each person that registers on the Aviva website will be eligible to vote. Each person can have up to 10 votes during the process.

Rugby in the Community works with children, young people and adults in Darlington and across the North East to increase their participation in sport and physical activity to improve health and overall life skills.

Rugby in the Community is a programme culminating in a number of projects Mowden Park has delivered over the past 3 years within the community.

Over the years, the programme has developed into a more-rounded life changing project that has inspired and enhanced the participant’s lives through sport, education, health and social inclusion. The project includes educational and life skill support, physical activities, qualifications and volunteering opportunities.

Anne Rose Community Manager Said: “We are extremely pleased with the development of the Community Scheme here at Mowden Park. Our success is built upon our commitment to providing young people and adults the opportunity to take part in sport and physical activity along with access to education and training to enhance life and employability skills. Access to the Aviva Community Fund will widen the extension of opportunities available to engage with more young people and adults across the North East, welcoming more people into the Mowden Family. We are very much looking forward to increasing participation in sport and physical activity, along with improving the health and wellbeing of the local community.”
