Mowden have always featured strongly in the County squad and this year is no exception. As numbers in the girls' game seem set to pick up across the clubs in the North, Durham will be teaming up with Cumbria again this year for County fixtures.

There was a great turn out from the Mowden girls at the recent trials in Penrith, and congratulations go to the following players who have been selected for the County squad:

Alysha Bell, Olivia Rowe, Heather Thomson and Lauren Swales.

First fixture - County Festivel at Vale of Lune RFC on 6th October.
