Bristol continue strong home form despite strong Sharks comeback.
The hosts started brightly and opened the scoring through Phoebe Murray, who crashed over after 15 minutes. Murray had her second soon after, intercepting a loose pass to race clear and give Bristol a 12-0 lead. The Sharks reacted positively to the early defecit and narrowed the gap through Georgina Roberts, Daley-McLean adding the extras. The score looked like staying the same until Claire Molloy powered over just before the half to give her side a 19-7 lead.
Bristol started the second 40 in equally positive fashion with Izzy Noel-Smith dotting down following a powerful scrum from the home side. This handed the hosts the 4 try bonus point and they extended their lead soon after through Lillian Stoeger-Goddard who scored in the corner. Once again though the Sharks responded well and scored 2 tries of their own in quick succession. First Katy Deley-McLean crossed for a well deserved try, before Kenny Thomas raced away in the corner for the Sharks 3rd try. The Sharks pushed hard for a 4 try bonus point late on, before Bristol had the final say courtesy of a Sydney Gregson try.
The Sharks will round off their Tyrrell's Premier 15s season next week when they travel to Worcester Valkyries.
