This weekend sees the visit of league leaders Coventry to the Northern Echo Arena!

As we approach the half way point in the season, we welcome table toppers Coventry to the Arena. So far, Coventry have won 14 out of 14 games this season with Mowden in their way trying to prevent it being 15 from 15. Mowden are yet to be beaten at the Arena and recently saw off, at the time 3rd placed Ampthill in a last-minute thriller 21-15.

Last weekend, Mowden managed to get a narrow win on the road, 13-10, over Fylde at Woodlands memorial ground which is a difficult place to go, especially against a side that are fighting for everything. Coventry had a home fixture against Ampthill and won convincingly 63-14.

Coventry’s top points scorer this season is Fly Half, Will Maisey with 130 points.
Their top try scorer is Hooker, Scott Tolmie with 11 tries, closely followed by Winger/ Full Back James Stokes with 10 tries. These contributions have left Coventry sitting at the top of the table.
