Bishops Stortford Rugby Football Club was formed in 1920 and have progressed up the league system from London 3 to National One. Their home ground Silver Leys has played host to the club since 1928. Bishops Stortford gained promotion to National One at the end of last season, courtesy of a 1st place finish in National 2 South. BSRFC pipped Old Elthamians to the title, gaining automatic promotion for their first season in National One.

They are currently sat in 8th place with 12 wins, 1 draw and 11 losses. Stortford have beaten National 1 regulars; Rosslyn Park, Blackheath, Esher and Loughborough Students. The Hertfordshire side played in one of the only three games played last weekend in National 1. They travelled to Plymouth and suffered a 17-10 defeat, picking up a losing bonus point.

Bishops Stortford will be looking to bounce back after a narrow defeat last weekend. This Saturday fixture will be a closely contested affair with the last meeting ending as a draw with a last minute try for Bishops Stortford.

Match tickets for Saturday's fixture are available on the day from both the Crossbar and the South West Turnstiles. Tickets will be priced at just £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and as always, U16s go FREE.
