We start this weekend with the first of two double headers this month. Saturday 2nd December sees 2nd placed Mowden Park 1st XV take on 3rd placed Ampthill at home in a 2pm KO. Following this the Sharks take on Bristol ladies at 4pm, as they look to make it 3 straight home wins at the Arena. Once the rugby has finished you are all invited to join both teams in the Crossbar for this year’s Race Night. Hot food and plenty of drink will be available for you to enjoy during the night. The Arena takes a rest for a week, perhaps the calm before the storm as Mowden Men's 1st XV take on league leaders Coventry on Saturday 16th December. This is the final opportunity of the year to see Mowden Men's 1st XV and Mowden Sharks for the price of one. The men take on league leaders, Coventry at 2pm then the Sharks take to the field at 4pm to play Richmond Women. Due to popular demand we'll be hosting a pre-match curry from 12.30pm in hospitality. The day after, Sunday 17th December is the Mowden Minis Christmas Party at the Arena. This will be a 5pm start and looking to finish around 7:30pm once the fun has stopped. A compulsory dress code of Christmas jumpers to be worn. Tickets are priced at only £5 and this will entitle you to entry, refreshments and a special Mowden Park gift. Before things wrap up for Christmas, Mowden 1st XV play for the final time of 2017 against Hull Ionians at the Arena. Saturday 23rd December, Mowden will kick off at 2pm to take on local side Hull Ionians. A Winter Wonderland is coming to the Arena for this Christmas Special fixture. Still trying to organise your Christmas party? At the Arena we have two dates remaining to book Christmas parties. Saturday 16th and Friday 22nd December evenings are still available to hire function rooms for your party. The night will commence at the bar from 6.30pm followed by a 3-course meal.
