Mowden Park is pleased to announce a further 4 players have signed an extension to stay at the Arena

Henry Robinson, 23, Full Back: Henry joined Mowden during the last year of his studies at Leeds Metropolitan University and after a spell at Leeds Carnage now signs for his 3rd year at the Mowden. Despite being side-lined due to injury early on in the Season Henry has gone on to make 22 appearances and racking up 16 tries, form that has earned him Senior County appearances for Hartfordshire

Max Connon, 23, Scrum Half/Fly Half/Fullback : Max joined Mowden 3 Years ago and although not his natural position has grown to establish himself in the No.10 shirt and has become a crucial part of the Mowden 1st XV. Clocking up 31 appearances this season Max’s consistently good form throughout the season has rightfully earned him Coaches 1st XV Player of the Season Award at this year’s recent Senior Awards night.

Craig Dominic, 23, Centre: Signs for his 3rd season at Mowden Park after moving from his local club Barnard Castle. Craic has been unlucky with injures the past 2 seasons, however his hard work and determination to get back playing has seen him earn selection for the Senior Durham Counties Squad.

Tom Hodgson, 21, Fly Half: Unlucky to be stuck behind an in form Max Connon, Tom grasped his opportunity in the later stages of the season with outstanding displays, which has earned him Senior Durham County Selection. With the ability to play Centre and Full back Tom will be looking to continue his good form into his 5th Season at Mowden.

With the step up to National 1 next year John Newton expressed his excitement “Henry, Max, Craic and Tom are all ambitious players. With promotion into National 1 it will be a good opportunity for all four of the guys to test themselves, and I am confident they all have the ability to succeed the higher level”
