We are truly saddened to hear that 27-year old Stockton RFC player Glen Cockin was tragically killed in a road traffic accident in Hamburg this weekend whilst with his fellow teammates.Stockton Rugby Club have paid tribute to Glen by saying:

‘’Whilst at the moment it seems as if there are no words which can express how we all must feel - and our immediate thoughts must be with his family - amongst his many attributes, we will remember his personal warmth, ready smile, bubbly personality, willingness to help out, and ability to banter with the best.’’

The circumstances have resulted in team mates fundraising to help his family bring him home with a cost of £25,000 required. £20,000 has been raised in the past 10 hours.
