The Northern Echo Arena will play host to an interactive evening of a Question of Sport on Monday 21st May. The evening will see former team captains Sir Ian Botham and Bill Beaumont pitted against each other once more, under the watchful eye of Sky Sports' Pete Graves. Getting underway at 6.30pm, the event will include a 3 course meal and drinks on arrival, as part of a fully interactive evening with celebrity teams. There will also be an exclusive sporting auction taking place on the night.
Former England Test Cricketer Sir Ian Botham said: “The Arena is a great venue and local to me so I am really looking forward to a fun night with my old Question of Sport rival and great friend Bill Beaumont, let’s just hope I get the home advantage and win this time!”
Former England Rugby Captain Bill Beaumont said: “Mowden is a great Rugby Stadium and I am looking forward to taking Beefy on again after all these years, he may have the home advantage, location wise, however I’ll be right at home in a rugby stadium so will give him a good run for his money.”
The evening will be hosted by Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves, who was equally excited about the event: “I’m really looking forward to hosting the Question of Sport evening with Bill and Beefy, what a great location Mowden is to have these two sporting icons go head to head.”
A number of Sporting Celebrities will also be joining us on the night, each hosting a Platinum Table. Confirmed so far are England cricket stars Paul Collingwood and Ryan Sidebottom.
There are various packages available for this exclusive evening. Tables for the event are priced as follows:
Platinum Table £950 + VAT (Tables of 10 inc. Sporting Celeb)
Golden Table £650 + VAT (Tables of 10)
Individual Golden Table tickets are also available priced at £65 + VAT.
