DMP to donate £1 from every adult ticket sold this weekend to Armed Forces Charities.

As part of their Armed Forces Day this Saturday, Darlington Mowden Park will be donating a percentage of ticket sales to a number of Armed Forces Charities including Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion. £1 from every adult ticket sold for this weekend's game against Plymouth will go to charity, as the club continue to support Armed Forces and Veterans.

Mowden Park's Director of Rugby Danny Brown emphasised the importance of the Armed Forces charities this weekend: "We hope that as many people as possible will come along on Saturday to support some extremely worthy causes. It's a way for us to give back to those who have served our country."

In addition, the club are offering tickets to all Armed Forces Personnel and Veterans, who can enjoy the game free of charge. No pre-booking is required for the free tickets, service personnel and veterans can simply show their military ID on the turnstiles to redeem their free ticket.

The game will be preceded by a range of military exhibits, as regiments from across the region bring vehicles and capability exhibits. The exhibit is open to the public from 1.30pm and is free of charge. The Armed Forces theme continues throughout the day, with a minutes silence prior to kick off and the last post played by buglers from the Army Reserves.

Tickets for Saturday’s game are priced at just £10 for adults and £8 for concessions. As always, U16s can enjoy the game for free, with free parking available at the Arena.
