Darlington Mowden Park RFC are delighted to announce the details of our themed matchdays for the 2018/19 season. This season the club will be running pre or post-match activities around every 1st XV home game, with a variety of special matchdays throughout the campaign.

Saturday 9th February - Loughborough (H) – Pre-Match Curry

Saturday 23rd March - Ampthill (H) – Community Day & Bankrollers
Saturday 6th April - Caldy (H) – Ladies Day
Saturday 27th April - Bishop's Stortford (H) – Captains Day

*Please Note* - All Mens 1st XV home games will kick off at 3pm this season.

The season gets underway as always with the Chairman's Welcome pre-match meal, taking place prior to our home game against Rotherham Titans on Saturday 8th September! This is followed by our annual Sponsors Day meal 3 weeks later on the 29th, as Rosslyn Park visit the Arena. Our home game against Sale on Saturday 13th October is preceded by our first Bankrollers event, before our ever-popular Ladies Day event returns on Saturday 27th October as Chinnor come to town. Our annual Armed Forces Day event follows on Saturday 17th November against Plymouth, before the club's Race Night after our game against Cambridge on 1st December. We round off the year in style with our Christmas Special hospitality, as Cinderford visit the Arena for the first time.

2019 kicks off with our second Bankrollers lunch of the season on Saturday 5th January against Old Elthamians, with our annual Members Day lunch following a week later as we face Blackheath. Our game against Moseley on Saturday 26th January will be dedicated to Doddie Weir's "My Name'5 Doddie" foundation in a new addition to the Mowden Park calendar. February sees the return of our Pre-Match Curry prior to the visit of Loughborough, before a very special Question of Rugby event on the 2nd March as Mowden Park face Esher. Our game against Ampthill on 23rd March is dedicated to our Community Team, as well as hosting the third and final Bankrollers of the season. Our Ladies Day returns for a second installment on Saturday 6th April as we host Caldy, before we round off the season with Captains Day meal on Saturday 27th April against Bishop's Stortford.
