The stadium, home of Mowden Park RFC and former home of Darlington FC, has been added to the list of venues when Boro's U23s will play this season, with Victoria Park, Hartlepool and the Riverside the other options.
Irrespective of venue, Lead Coach Paul Jenkins is looking for a much better performance than that given away to Wolves last Monday.
"That wasn't good enough and the players know that," says Jenkins.
"It was almost as if the side were unrecognisable, we don't normally play anything like that and I'm not expecting us to again.
"The week before we had beaten the leaders Swansea to go second in the table."
It was the first time Boro had been beaten in the league this season and on Monday they are up against a side who, last week, conceded five when beaten 5-2 at Walsall by a West Brom side containing former Boro player Chris Brunt for first time since he was injured in February.
It was the third defeat of the season for a Villa side whose only win in five games was 4-0 at home to Newcastle.
Kick-off is at 7pm priced at £3 Adults and u16s Free. MFC Season Card holders gain free entry.
